Friar Malachy of Ireland, fl. 13th/14th century? Malachy is held by Mario Esposito to be the author of ''Venenum'' (''Poison''), a moral treatise, usually attributed to Robert Grosseteste. It is stated as having been written ''"for the instruction of simple men who have to teach the people"''. Malachy is thought to be identical with the franciscan, Malachy of Limerick, and unsuccessful candidate for the Archbishop of Tuam in 1280. ==Sources== * ''Friar Malachy of Ireland'', Mario Esposito, Early Historical Record xxxiii (1918), pp.359–66. * ''A New History of Ireland'', volume one, pp.969–71. 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Malachy of Ireland」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
